Update for 2012 of the list of Non co-operative States and Territories (ETNC).
A Decree of 4 april 2012 (published in the Journal Officiel of 12 april 2012) updates the list of non co-operative States and Territories (ETNC).
Effective from 1st January 2012, the list includes the following States and Territories :
Consequently, the following States and Territories are no longer considered non co-operative:
Anguilla, Belize, Costa Rica, Dominique, Grenade, Cook Islands, Turk and Caicos Islands, Liberia, Oman, Panama, Saint-Vincent, Grenadines.
However, a new State has been added to the list: Botswana.
Engaging in business with entities registered in non co-operative States and Territories may result in penalties, higher tax rates, withholding taxes, etc. It is recommended to consult a Chartered Accountant.
